Introduction

After the MBBS, post-graduate level studies like MS or MD
can be organized and there are numerous specializations
including General Surgery, General Medicine, Obstetrics &
Gynecology, Dermatology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics,
Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), and
Anesthesiology. There are also some options for the super
specialization via PhD in any medicine area.
Eligibility
The MBBS selection is done via CET, All India Entrance
Examination, and qualification needed for the entrance is
10+2 or similar with the Science subjects. Having MBBS, the
candidate must complete House Surgency or the internship to
one year. After MBBS, the candidates may go for the
post-graduate studies like MS or MD through other entrance.
At the post-graduate level, it is specialization in Surgery
and Medicine. Those having Post Graduation in MS, MD or M.
Sc in Medicine, may further choose for the
super-specialization like PhD. Doctoral programs may be
completed by MS or MD holders within 2 years and through M.
Sc in Medicine in 3 years. The candidate, who opts to pursue
a career, must have good recollecting ability, memory,
stamina, patience, service mentality, emotional stability,
power of concentration, and logical & analytical mind.

There is ample demand of the medical professionals,
increasing with unfortunate rush of ailments and diseases
day by day. Also numerous super specialty hospitals are
providing employment opportunities. Some places where, job
