Educational: Most of the advertising agencies recruiting the
candidates with conventional management or the mass
communication or advertising qualification. Preference is
provided for the MBA's for the posts in client servicing,
market research, and the media planning departments. On
other hand, in the creative department, a general BA, having
a command over communication language plus the knowledge of
designing tools like Coral draw, Photoshop, or fine arts is
required.
There are also some specialized courses in the advertising
and mass communication at the diploma level as well as the
post graduate level to which the primary qualification is
graduation. Although, advertising is also provided as the
subject for graduate degree course of mass communication
studies with certain institutions for that the minimum
attribute is 10+2. Additionally, there are certificate
courses also for which the 10+2 is sufficient.
